These photos were taken with a student-made oatmeal box pinhole camera. The tape flap on the front of the box in the photo below is the “shutter”, the pinhole is in the piece of aluminum can behind it. Film was taped to the curved box opposite the pinhole, explaining the odd curvature of the photos. Exposures ranged from 5-8 seconds outdoors to 30 minutes or more indoors. Black and white film paper was used, so the originals are “negatives”. The photos were scanned and then inverted with a photo editing app.
